How about someone who make a mistake but refuse to undo his wrong? Or just because he is so sure that he will always get 2nd or 3rd chance, so he doesn't value his interaction?
Taking customer or friendship for granted, that's how you lose that loyalty/devotion forever.

I think you are right.

I am just not a fan of businesses "tricking" people, but ultimately, the market will decide what's worth talking about.

Jay,

I'm a fan of your posts. But I think you missed the mark on this one. A video is a video is a video. It's ability to go viral is based in large part on its creativity and ability to engage people. You even say above that videos made by real people are not intended to sell us anything "at first." I think many videos have an underlying sales/marketing strategy, even if it's for an individual who, for example is a consultant. When you say "businesses who are trying to sell us something," I'm assuming you mean large companies with the resources to produce something slick. If I, as a sole proprietor choose to invest in a professionally made video to sell my wares, would that be acceptable. Here's the reality: most people today have become savvy enough to know if they're being "sold" something. Terrible TV commercials get zapped. Great commercials are enjoyed for what they are. I think the same principle holds true for videos. Let the marketplace decide what is worthy of being viral.

Why would you require name and email address to leave comment on your blog? People are turned off by that, and usually those people would like to give your honest feedback. Also when either box is not filled, if you click on submit comment, all the context is gone after the error message: Error: please fill the required fields (name, email). This is really annoying!! After I typed all my comments!
Anyway, still want to comment on this one, here is a short version:
Usually there is only one ultimate/direct way of solving any problems. The problem here is people usually are wondering between what they want/need or what they think what they want/need. Often making decision is the hardest. There are always tradeoffs between different decisions/options/choices, it's hard because whichever you choose is always going to hurt you by not satisfying you with your other desires. It’s not without knowing where is point B, is because there is point C, D, E……, all the points are equally meet your different prospects, and the prioritization are equally weighted as well. And there is no right or wrong when you making a choice simply because you can't foresee different outcomes. The question is which point should I try first? B or C or E?

Because they start your "risk free" trial the moment you order, and can take a while before they ship it, you lose a week or your 14 day trial. so, by the time you do request a refund or a cancellation, it's already too late. Scammers, big time. Go to the health food store and get it cheaper. The store isn't going to disappear (hopefully) in 14 days. You know, if their contact numbers aren't any good, it's a pretty sure bet that they are not a good company and you can forget about that $1500 dollars.

I was just thinking about so many scams on Facebook now that I almost assume all advertisers are fakers now. The convenience and power of "reaching out" just took a very wrong turn slowly, and bad apples are pushing out the good ones. As a marketer of a new brand, it's challenging to convenience consumers that "We are the REAL thing." Take baby step and be humble -- that's my strategy.
