I started Project NSB on 4/10/2009. The goal was to keep blogging for at least 3 months and to see how everything turns out. Since nobody joined my project, it essentially turned into a trial run for myself.
Shortly after I started the Project, I found myself filled with ideas. Maybe it had nothing to do with the Project at all; maybe it does. What happened was that not only did I find blogging an enjoyable process, but to my surprise, I never ran out of things to write about.
Today, I use Google Doc to keep all of my blog topics and drafts. After a quick glance, it has approximately 40 unpublished topics which I haven’t started on yet.
Some interesting habits I have developed: 1) write down ideas as quickly as I can, 2) take actions right away, 3) try out new things rather fearlessly and 4) actively seek out unique attributes of my everyday life.
Here is quick run down of some of the topics I wrote about the last three month:
- The problem of the Internet, and my attempt to solve it.
- How to change the advertisement world, part 1 and 2.
- The re-invention of Newspaper, and the NY times.
- My prediction of the future, and definition of success.
- How I think you could build a digital brand.
- Making an appearance on Seth Godin’s blog.
- Some interesting videos and YEGIoD pictures.
Overall, it has been an amazing beginning to what I hope would be a long journey. Like I said yesterday, blogging isn’t suitable for everyone. I guess I forgot to mention that I think it’s definitely for me.
