Youtube has this “new” feature of showing some TV shows and movies on their website. Compare with normal television programs, where in a 30 minute time slot, networks usually use 7 to 8 minutes to play commercials, “Youtube TV” only has 3 commercial breaks for a total of 1 minute and 30 seconds.
That sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Same content with less interruptions. Shouldn’t people feel happy about it? Not really.

I HATE TH CHILI’S COMMERCIALS. IF THEY ARE GONNA HAVE COMMERCIALS, CAN’T THEY HAVE DIFFERENT ONES!!??
Apparently, it has come to a point where most of us are NOT satisfied anymore with an 80% reduction in commercial time. Instead, we expect 100% control and ZERO distractions.
So next time when you decide to run any ads on any platform, stop for a second and ask yourself this, just how annoying is this going to be (to your customers)?
