I was scammed by this. I got charged the 1.99 then 99.99 then 9.99. It has been an absolute mess to get my money back.
This happened to me too…I like to think I’m not a sucker but I figured for $1.99 I’d have a look just to see what the program was about. I received an access code to a website with some tips on how to market using Twitter…fairly interesting but nothing really revolutionary…oh well, two bucks is two bucks…I had forgotten about it until I saw the $99.99 charge on my card, plus $9.99 for something called Search Engine Pro…(I still don’t know what that is!) The fine print may spell out the details of the charges, but my contention is that the whole thing is misleading. It is advertised as though there is some type of commission-based marketing program approved by Twitter and as far as I can tell there’s no such thing. It’s just a website with generic information. I want my money back and I also want to let as many people know about this unethical business as I can.
To effectively use Twitter for marketing, without having to spend all your prescious time on Twitter, it’s required to set up a strategy. An efficient system that builds your Twitter following will establishes you as an authority in your niche, and will effectively promote your product, service, business.
