Simple Math

If you can talk to 50 people 1-on-1 everyday(4 hours, 5 minutes per person) for 3 months, you end up talking with 4000 people. If you impress them enough so that each will tell 100 others about you, you end up impressing 400,000.

On the other hand, if you can tell me one piece of ad out of the 20,000 you see everyday from websites, billboards, newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, supermarket, etc., that:

  • is unrelated to your profession;
  • has impressed you so much that not only convinced you to buy the product,
  • you also couldn’t wait to share it with your friends,

you might want to consider advertising on that same platform.

You see, it is no longer about how many impressions you can afford to buy; it’s about how many people you can manage to impress.
